Once you have decided that you are ready to have your photos taken, the first step is simply to reach out! You don't need to have all the details figured out before you contact me. Whether you already have a specific vision in mind or you aren't quite sure where to start, I am happy to help.
When you inquire with me, I'll learn a little more about you, the type of session that you are interested in, and what you are hoping to get from your session. From there, we will go over availability, pricing, location ideas, and any other details you could have questions about.
My goal is to make the booking process feel simple and stress free from the beginning. You bring the vision, and I will help bring it to life.
Step 2: Choose Your Date & Location
Once we have decided on the type of session you are looking for, we will choose a date and location that fits your vision. I love helping my clients find locations that feel unique to them, whether that may be mountain views, an open field, a beautiful waterfront, or something a little more intimate.
I photograph throughout Upstate South Carolina, including Seneca, Clemson, Tamassee, and surrounding areas. If you already have a location in mind, I'm always happy to work with you to make it happen. If you aren't sure where you would like to have your session, don't worry! I have plenty of location ideas and can help you find the perfect spot based on the look and feel you are wanting.

Once your date and location are chosen, it's time to plan the details that will make your session feel like you -- starting with what to wear.
Step 3: Plan What to Wear
Now for one of the questions I get asked the most... "What should I wear?" Don't worry--you don't have to have it all figured out! Choosing outfits can feel overwhelming, but I am always happy to help you plan what will photograph beautifully and fit the overall feel you're going for.
I recommend choosing outfits that feel comfortable and true to you. For couples and families, coordinating colors rather than wearing perfectly matching outfits can create a more natural and timeless look. For seniors, I love when your outfit shows off your personality and gives you a few different looks to choose from.
We will also consider location, season, and the style of your session when planning your outfits. Whether you are going for romantic and dreamy, fun and adventurous, or simple and timeless, the goal is for you to feel confident and comfortable in front of the camera.

Step 4: The Day of Your Session
The day is finally here! This is where we get to turn all the planning into memories you will be able to look back on for years to come.
When you arrive, you don't need to worry about knowing how to pose or what to do in front of the camera. I will guide you throughout the entire session with prompts and gentle direction while also giving you plenty of opportunity to simply be yourselves. My goal is to capture the genuine moments in between the poses--the laughs, little interactions, the movement, and the connection that makes your photos feel more like you.
I want your session to feel less like you're posing for a camera and more like you are spending time with the people that you love. Whether we're exploring a mountain location, walking through an open field, or enjoying a meaningful location, I'll help you feel comfortable, confident, and relaxed.
By the end of your session, my hope is that you will leave thinking, "That was actually so much fun!" -- not "I'm glad that's over."
Step 5: After Your Session
Once your session is over, the hardest part is done! Now it's time for me to take all of the moments we captured and turn them into your final gallery.

After your session, I carefully go through your images and select the photographs that best tell the story of your session.
02 - Your images are edited
Each chosen image is then individually edited to create the natural, timeless look that Victoria Lorraine Photography is known for.
03 - Your gallery is delivered
When your gallery is ready, you'll receive an email with a link to view your images online. This is always one of my favorite parts of the process because you finally get to see your session come together!
From there, you can download and enjoy your images, share them with your family and friends, and print your favorites to have in your home. These aren't just photos to me. They are memories you will be able to come back to for years to come.
